Poor State help

NY State forms are very confusing. I spent more than 3 hours on hold on the phone listening to music and never got to talk to anyone who could help. Spent hours trying to figure it out myself!
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

lack of 8606 forms for inherited IRAs

cannot e-file because H&R Block does not provide 8606 form for people who inherit their IRA from a relative who is not a spouse, 17 relatives inherited an IRA from my Uncle, all have to file form 8606, therefore, cannot use your software to e-file
Pros: Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The GO to is a good feature

The Deluxe 2021 Tax software does a good job for the money. It's harder to navigate than TurboTax but once you learn where everything is located, the software does a great job.
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Hard to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

Purchase was easy and it worked as I expected. I have used H&R block software for many years. This year was no different. Worked great.

Straightforward and easy

Have used for many years now and it’s always straightforward and easy to use even for fairly complicated returns having capital gains and Roth conversions.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents

I LIKE THE PRODUCT HAVE USED IT FOR MANY YEARS. EXCEPT FOR THE PAST 2 YEARS I COULD NOT PRINT THE RETURN IT STOPPED ON IST PAGE AND WOULD NOT MOVE UP TO PRINT
