Not helpful With Cryptocurrencies

I have used this software for years and loved it. This year is a disappointment. There was not much info on filing Capital Gains and Losses on Cryptocurrencies and the little information I did receive from other sites was different from what was printed out with your software. Because I already paid for this software I didn't want to buy another brand. So I went with yours. I sure hope your's was right.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Getting the program to recognize the previous year's information has had my hair on fire the last two years.

Great tax software!!!

Have used this software for many years. The 2021 version is by far the best. Very user friendly and asks many questions to make sure you do not miss any deductions.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund
I would recommend this to a friend!

Could be better

Program froze after E-filing Federal and I had a hard time getting to the State program to paper file it.
It imported my 1040 line 11 incorrectly from last year and the instructions to correct it were not correct. Did not have this problem last year.
It took several tries to do the Feb 17 update. Hopefully it is right.
There should be an up/down arrow on the right side of this window for easier navigation.

Top tax software

I have used several brands of tax software for the past 30 years. There are some good ones and some bad ones that won't pass IRS auditing. HR Block is always on top, with ease of use and cost.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have trouble downloading the software with Microsoft's browser. (It does not link to the proper web site.) I had to utilize Firefox to get to the proper web site to download the software.
("Review Title" limits the number of characters that can be utilized to 'review the title'.)
Pros: Easy to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

It just works. The inputs are a little better this year over last. Numbers are always right (I double check the main parts). IRS accepts it. What more can you ask for.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

Spouse AGI Reject

My spouse and I filed a joint return last year. Software transferred 2020 AGI to 2021 return. It was rejected to correct spouse AGI. We have only one AGI. My IRS Return transcript has the same amount as on line 11 of 1040. Last time I will use H&R Block software. Will mail return.
Cons: Hard to prepare
