Again problem with updating on Mac

I hate to go back to turbo tax . But the program does not update .I have to go manually and update very frustrating page won’t load .the state program I had to contact chat to download.same problem last year .
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Incomplete Instructions

I tried to e-file my return. The IRS rejected it because they said my 2020 AGI did not match my 2020 return even though the software provided the number. After four tries, the IRS accepted my return after I changed my 2020 AGI to zero. The software instructions stated that my return was probably rejected because my spouse's AGI did not match the 2020 number. We always file a joint return so a 2020 AGI number was not available for my spouse.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Generally a great program

Overall the program is great. However there were a few confusing situations in dealing with the Dividends, etc. section. Not really clear sometimes when it asked for a number or a yes/no answer. I spent more time going back and forth than I have had to in the past.
Pros: Easy to prepare

Font Too Small

For today's modern larger monitors, the font is too small. Please provide a way to increase the font size without truncation when using HR Block Deluxe Software. This is my only complaint. I will be switching to Turbo Tax if it has a larger font option.

Errors Need More Highlighting

I have used H&R Block tax software for over 10 years. It doesn't get any easier than this.
However, there is one area where the program needs improvment. You need to highlight the errors on the various forms when there area errors during the accurarcy checks. Your error descriptions leave a lot to be desired. You stated "You have no income tax to report - uncheck box". This was on Schedule A. Where was this box on Schedile A???????????????????

I have used this program for many years. Our return is pretty simple, involves retirement income, social security benefits - too few deductions for itemization to be useful - standard deduction is better and far less questionable. This year (2021 Filing), I do have a negative and constructive comment. IRS rejected my first filing due to a software error. The Forms were filled out correctly, but the Efile option retrieved an erroneous value for the AGI from 2020 required for filing. However, the package did provide a detailed list of instruction on how to override the incorrect value. The second filing was accepted in minutes by the IRS. I would call this in, but too much time needed on hold for me.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming
