Pretty good, but I had one big issue.

1. Getting through on the phone for help is very tedious.
2. I had issues with getting my 1099-MISC form accepted. Took many trial attempts.

Shouldn't have had to wait until 2/17 to file my return but had to because a SS worksheet was not available.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have efiled my Federal return, however not the state. The return review showed 2 errors to correct. I did that, however the software repeats showing the same errors, in spite of being corrected. The errors were on the Federal 1099R worksheet, which affected the state return. Apparently the software does not reset itself, so it sees that the errors were fixed. This forces me to file by mail(not what I wanted).
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Time consuming

This year's version of the federal form seemed more complex and harder to navigate than the past few years. It kept taking me back to previous info that I had already completed. Overall, though, it's still good tax software.
Pros: Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

It's easy to use and file both federal and state income tax returns

Similar to previous years, which is a plus. Slight problem on updates. I couldn't file until the Feb 17 update, so I had to wait 2 additional weeks. Updates should be more frequent
