Not what it used to be

ya need to be a CPA to understand this years software, comes up with whats wrong but doesnt tell you how to fix it. compares to halftime show of super bowl
Cons: Hard to prepare

Have used Tax Cut for years and will continue to use. Accurate and so easy to use.

I have used H&R Block software for about 10 years. The software has always worked great for me. My only issue with this year's version, is having to disconnect my external hard drive for updates to process properly. This has never happened before, and should be an easy problem to fix, but was not.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast

Using H7R Block for many years have never had a problem submitting my tax returns to both Feds and State

Comprehensive, Yet Easy to Use

I've been using H&R Block Tax Software since 2007 and have found that it takes most of the chore out of preparing and filing my Tax Returns. I did have one concern which only came up this year. Although I was able to prepare my Federal Tax Return, I wasn't able to file and work on my State Tax Return because of an Update that wasn't able to download until two weeks later. I was finally able to download the update and electronically file my Tax Returns within minutes. The update was a Social Security Worksheet, and this is the only time that I've experienced a delay in filing my Returns.

All I know is that I have used H&R Block software for probably over 15 years and I've never had a return questioned. I file through e-file and I've always gotten a quick approval from the IRS (and a quick refund through direct deposit). Today I e-filed and 4 minutes later I got an email from the IRS that the return was approved. Pretty good!
