Have used this software for multiple years. This year, I had to file in an additional state, which took a little experimenting with how to enter. Software said I needed to pay in, however, that state said I made less than the minimum to file. Seems like a major thing to have missed.

DIFFICULT FINDING FORMS, CANNOT EFILE I MADE THE SUGGESTED UPDATE AND STILL HAVING MAJOR PROBLEMS
Cons: Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great First Time Experience

I was apprehensive about trying to file my own return but decided to give H&R Block Deluxe Software a try. I couldn't be more pleased! Any help I I needed was easy to attain, no long, frustrating waits, it went smoothly! I WILL use this program again. Thank you!
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

would have filed earlier but fed had not updated social security worksheet which I don't need of use but program would not let me file until it was updated today

So Not Happy with Filing Delays

First delay was for the Residential Energy Credit form. After that update on 2/4 I couldn't file again due to the Social Security Worksheet form!! That us such a standard form. Couldn't file until after the next update on 2/17.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Horrendous for tax year 2

H&R CROCK decided to stick it to people who use the social security worksheet this year. I have been using this software for more than 10 years and this is the last. Worksheet was supposed to be updated on 2/3 from everything I saw but was not until 2/17. Delayed my filing. Could not get a straight answer from the not friendly customer non-service. Everyone parroted the same lie….so very sad.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I Have used for years and loved. This year I had to wait for 2 updates for them to get their forms right before I could e-file on 2/17. Not happy about that.
