I bought this program today and started out already not liking the change with importing last years tax return information. You now drag and drop the PDF file and it was fine for the personal information. When it came to the W2 information that is the same file it did not carry it over when I tried again to drag and drop it. It said the PDF was not good even though it was good in the very beginning. Also when entering in the Employer address when trying to select the Country the button does not work.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast
Cons: Hard to import documents
I would recommend this to a friend!

Half what I usually paid for my discounted TurboTax Deluxe with state. One-half the hassle ---even having to manually input everything from last year due to my 2021 hard drive crash

I had no difficulty in filling out the information needed to complete my taxes for 2021. The program was very helpful in locating needed data and was easy to navigate. Had I not used it I would certainly not be getting as much money back.

I had to get online chat help to upload state filing software. 2/4/22 second chat call to get update that will allow federal e-file. First on 1/31 giving available update to come 2/3. Downloaded 2/3 but still no able to e-file. third chat told that now will need to wait until 2/17 update. IRS accepting e-files on Jan. 25th and I must wait until "at least" Feb. 17. And then no guarantee that that update will solve the problem. Been a user since 2014. Worst software problems and still no solutions. Serious concerns about future use of this program.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

NO DISC

I have always been happy with the H & R Block programs but this year I can't give it five stars because you have cheapened the product by just putting your codes in that box and nothing else. I want the disc back period. It's a lot easier for me to file the boxes with the disc on my shelf. Wake up and get those disc back., Thanik you.

I have always used H&R Block for my taxes because it is so easy to do on your own and it walks you through every step so you don't miss any money or deductions.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming
I would recommend this to a friend!
