I've used this product for many years, and I haven't been audited. Yet. It's fairly easy to use, and I got a special price this year. It's typically cheaper than Turbo Tax anyway. There are still a few bugs. When I download tax data directly from Fidelity, it asks me to verify hundreds of fund names/# shares on trades manually, which is annoying. One would think the file formats, etc., from brokerages would have been figured out after all these years. These verifications are done during the Accuracy Review. They say you can "clear" the warnings and errors, but in my case that was not possible. I clicked through and accepted all the warnings, but they weren't cleared. Every time an accuracy review was done, the same warnings remained and couldn't be overridden. This is a poor user experience. You should be able to validate that the trades are acceptable one time and then move on. Also, the Accuracy Review window remains open after you finish, and you somewhat lose your place in the main flow at that point.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents

Can not download tax documents from Interactive Brokers. Many Financial Institutions you can, but it is an inconvenience if you have an account with IBKR.
Pros: Easy to prepare

I'd have given 5 stars if the software didn't charge me extra because it didn't know there was an extension for Texas filing this yr.

Had to pay twice cause it wouldn't download & said too many downloads when it never completed the download. Ended up filling my taxes late because it wouldn't download. Customer service want available when I needed help

I have been using HR Block software since 2002 and have never had a problem with it. I do wish you would resume sending a disc with the program on it. I had to call your service representative to load your program using a the web site. The rep was very courteous and patient with me. I had been trying for 2 days to find the web site and he guided through the process and stayed the line until he was sure that I had successfully loaded the program and it was working properly.
