The software seems to be thorough and work well. I like the interviews and seeing the changes in the refund or amount due as it takes in new information. I dinged it a star because it wants to charge me to file state taxes. Which means I have to go do it myself. I've purchased the software for at least 5 years. I like how it imports last years information and thats why I continue to use it, but, I'm over the state tax filing extra charge dance every year

H&R Block continues to make it easy.

I have used this software for many years and have found it easy to use as long as I have kept good records throughout the year. I did have a bit of a problem getting the Form 1116 filled out to claim my Foreign Tax Credit. I finally had to go to the form and fill it out directly. I do not import documents when I complete the returns.
Pros: Easy to prepare

Took me about 10 minutes to find an address to send my return to. Recommend you insert it on the 1040-V payment voucher printed for the return. it then can be cut off from the voucher.
