[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have put together several Technic kits and had excellent experience. I found this ICON difficult to build using just the book and "Bricklink's Studio". Of coursr these are only 2D. I should have used "LEGO Builder so I could get 3D views. Once done the kit tends to fall apart as the sub-assemblies are not very well tied to the body. The whole back is now in pieces on my desk. I will use "LEGO Builder" to rebuild the kit once I get past my frustration. I had good luck with the ICON Rivendell kit. I have three "TECHNIC " kits (Bugatti Bolide, McLaren Senna, and Porsche 911) in hand and have always had good luck with TECHNIC kits. After that there are several ICON Cars (McLaren MP 4/4, Chevrolet Camero Z28, and the Back to the future Kit) in mind but am now suspicious about the ICON car kits. Any suggestions on the McLaren Senna GTR?

So i am returning the new Cobra as far as I am concerned this set is defective. I could not get the front end to connect to the body without breaking the top part or the bottom wouldn't line up no matter what I tried

This one sucked from the beginning. I could barely see the dark blue bricks on the grey background. The build is flimsy and comes apart easily. I didn't enjoy this one one bit. I really wanted to.

I’m sorry but this has been the worse set I’ve ever built. The instructions are not very clear and while building it parts would just pop off and the structural integrity of the whole kit is very lacking.

Lots of small pieces, great details. many pieces that were only two tabs that then went into another with only one tab. That made pieces prone to pop apart while building. Made it about halfway before giving up after repeatedly trying to put the model together. Boxed it up and donated

My go-to gift is Legos. This was an expensive purchase for me. I was disappointed in receiving a box with a smashed corner and a little embarrassed giving it as a gift. With that being said, the recipient really enjoyed the build and loved the details and stories throughout the instruction booklet. When the build was complete and they were showing off their build they were able to share the fun facts they learned from the booklet.

This is not my first Lego car build and found this one to be very fragile. The whole front end of the car is being held together by 2 hooks clipped on to a bar and can fall off easily. Additionally I received an extra left side trim piece and when requesting a replacement I was asked to provide my passport in order for the piece to leave customs. That seemed very excessive for a single piece and I just kept that trim piece empty as is instead.
