I looked forward to this build as I am a true Lego car lover however this was a mistake by both myself and Lego - structural integrity is poor as the new use of elements in some areas does not work and pieces fall off at random while building - I was tempted to reach for glue - I am not done yet and want to get it behind me as soon as I can - and yes I use the builder app because of the poor colors in the book - for the prices Lego asks they need to get the quality up to the new competition and price more reasonably!

The car was a let down, parts didnt line up and the parts would pop loose so easily it was annoying. I even had to crazy glue a few parts so the car could be moved without falling apart.

Either I have the worst luck in the world or Lego has a quality control issue because at least a third of the sets I buy are missing pieces. And this one is no exception. And to make matters worse, when I went to order the missing pieces for this set, the part number doesn’t exist according to them. Then I went through all of the available parts for this set and it’s not there either. I tried to chat with someone and waited forever.

Overall the car looks good! There are some parts of this that are flimsy such as the windshield area, and the very
ft of the hood. Lego could have done better with this. I used the book and the builder app and made it
through. The wait for missing parts is very frustrating!! I'm still waiting on a trim piece but it's done!
