Better instructions

Highly reccomend!

There are also more detailed, helpful instructions on the app about application. ***This is a really insightful product!*** I can't reccomend enough! I had no issues with the meter, the battery, the app - all worked seamlessly.

Easy to use and excellent real time monitoring

Set up was easy through the app. In terms or reliability, readings feel consistent and helpful to know how my body reacts to certain foods. Durability is good so far, it stays in place and holds up throughout the day.

Great glucose monitor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lingo was useful in measuring glucose levels. It was interesting to see how certain foods elevated my glucose and how others had less of an effect. Carbs were definitely a big elevator.
Setting up the app was easy enough to do. Applying the sensor to the back of my upper arm was easy and surprisingly painless despite there being a needle involved. In fact, I didn’t even feel the needle go in. The sensor and the adhesive came in a sterile cup. After opening the cup a stamper was used to pick up the sensor. Then the stamper was used to apply the sensor to the arm with one small push. Removing the sensor was just as easy. Just needed to peel off the adhesive and the sensor came off. When doing that I noticed the needle was very thin and flexible. Some rubbing alcohol was required to remove excess adhesive on the skin.
The first day with the sensor in I did feel some soreness if I stretched my arm in a certain way. The sensor and the adhesive was quite durable. I ended up bumping it a few times pretty hard but it stayed in place. Traveling with Lingo was smooth too. No issues with the metal detectors.
If I ever needed to monitor my glucose in the future I’d use lingo rather than the traditional methods.

Highly Recommend!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve never thought about my glucose and only agreed to review this out of curiosity. Wow! This thing made me aware I may have a problem. One day I woke up feeling horrible. I was down the entire day, with no energy. The app showed that my glucose had dropped to 55 during the night. Now I know I have a bit of hypoglycemia going on. I now HIGHLY recommend this product to just about everyone. My husband wore one last year and had a very different results. I think everyone should be aware of how their body handles glucose. Also, I’m allergic to latex, and this did NOT cause any pain or rash. Definitely recommend!!!!

Good Device but Limited Utility

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a fourth year medical student I feel well equipped for interpreting the data a CGM provides. However, I feel someone without a medical background may struggle with the stream of data. Regardless, the product itself is well made and interesting. I tolerated it for 2 weeks just fine.
I do see a place for a device like this in athletes and wish it would sync with Garmin/Wahoo — being able to see my blood glucose on a bike computer would be invaluable in timing nutrition. I’d also like to see a push toward a partially reusable device with a lower subscription price. I largely question the utility of a CGM and simply cannot recommend it at its yearly price; you’d be better suited with a one time purchase of a smart scale, blood pressure cuff, and fitness wearable for continuous HR monitoring.
