Trying a Continuous Glucose Monitor to help with my health!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family health history isn’t the best and I’ve always wanted to try a continuous glucose monitor to see where my blood sugar levels were throughout the day. These metrics were actually very helpful to understand where my baseline is, how my sugar is affected from what I eat or if I’m not eating enough, how my levels were throughout the night and how my energy was. I actually learned my sugar was quite low throughout the day and overnight so I need to do better at eating the right things to fuel my body.
The process of ordering the monitor, applying it and using the app were all very simple and easy to follow. I’m not one who is necessarily scared of needles but I don’t like the surprise of one entering me. I had worries it was going to hurt and I can’t believe I didn’t even feel a thing when I applied it. I would totally be able to do it again and not be scared this time. The sensor was food for two weeks and I had no problem with it started to fall off, it stayed in place and didn’t lose any adhesive ability to stay on. Now with that being said I did only get it went about 5 times within the 2 week window so if you’re someone who showers every day I can’t speak to that. While it was on for the two weeks I barley even new it was there. It didn’t hurt when I moved my body and I didn’t even feel it while sleeping and I’m a side sleeper.
The app has some cool features like tips and tricks, educational content and even recipes.
The only complaint I can say I had is that whenever I would open the app 9/10 times it would say that the signal was lost. Now I didn’t have to troubleshoot or do anything to fix it, just had to wait a couple minutes for it to register.
All in all I had a great experience and would totally recommend Lingo to someone who is interested in learning more about their blood sugar and how it might be affecting their health.

Accurate and insightful

The app is easy to install and navigate and it was impressive as far as how accurate it was on telling me when I last ate and I verified it to see why I was feeling a certain way with my sugar spikes or drops. The cost is worth it in my opinion bc you’re getting insight on your health more than you would be from a health watch or ring!

Eye-opening data for everyday health!

It’s one thing to read about 'blood sugar spikes,' but seeing it happen in real-time after a specific meal completely changed how I think about fueling my day. My average is sitting right at 85 mg/dL, and having that data has helped me stabilize my energy and avoid that dreaded 3 PM crash. Highly recommend for anyone curious about what’s actually happening under the hood!

Couldn’t pair to the app

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The item came packaged very nicely and securely but I had an issue with getting mines to pair to the app so I couldn’t use it. I made it far enough to sign up my account and pair the sensor but couldn’t go further due to it kor connecting so I’m not sure how to get it to function. The instructions were very helpful in figuring how to setup the sensor and put the pieces together. The needle is smaller and thin and it’s an easy application but given my app didn’t work I can’t really use this. Can’t review further because without pairing to the app you can’t see anything and there’s no area to get help for pairing issues

Lingo makes it possible to avoid pricking my finger each 15 minutes. Small size, easy setup, high reliability! Smart monitor without any maintenance, I ordered Lingo for my husband too!

Super cool device!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will be honest I was very hesitant to start my 2 week lingo journey.. I had never used a glucose monitor and was worried it would hurt going on. However, I felt ZERO pain/discomfort when I applied the sensor- I expected a pinch or something but honestly, it was NOTHING. I really enjoyed seeing my glucose levels changing throughout the day and night depending on my diet. The only complaint I have is the app kept losing signal with the monitor. The suggestion was to toggle off Bluetooth or restart my phone, I tried that each time and it usually didn’t help. Other than that, I really enjoyed this product and had zero irritation or discomfort with it. Removing it was super easy and also pain free, the redness/marks in my picture went away within 5-10 minutes.

Such a helpful tool!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had no idea what I was going to think about wearing a glucose monitor. I am pretty active and have a very clean diet. This experience really opened my eyes and showed me what a difference ORDER of foods can play in your glucose levels and how you feel. The app and monitor are easy to set up and apply. It didn’t hurt at all. The monitor is lightweight and you can’t even tell it’s there. I can’t speak to the calibration or accuracy since I have nothing to compare it to, but my readings were in line with my activity and food intake, so I believe it was accurate. The app has so many helpful prompts, tools, challenges and more - anyone could easily use one of these monitors. I had no issues with the monitor falling off or even becoming loose. My biggest takeaway is that I should try to avoid starting meals with sugar or carbs. Even though I track my macros, I wasn’t paying attention to the order I ate things. I would highly recommend Lingo to anyone wanting to learn more and dial in on their health.
