Easy to use monitor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This monitor is easy to set up and easy to use. The app is very easy to use so that you always know what your glucose levels are. As someone who is not diabetic, this information was interesting to see and learn what foods spike my glucose the most. The monitor was not painful and lasted a full two weeks for me.

Useful Tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Using Lingo has been a good experience. I think it’s good for anyone trying to get a better idea of their health. It’s a reasonable cost. It was very easy (and painless) to apply and most of the time I forgot I was wearing it (you do have to be careful say putting a sports bra on so it doesn’t catch). The app was easy to install and pair with the device. The only issue I had is the Bluetooth disconnecting on me a few times at night. The app shares great insight into your blood sugar and how it responds to food and exercise and I even saw out of the norm on a night I felt sick. I would recommend this.

Really helpful wellness tool!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing was incredibly easy to set up once you start the process. All of a sudden you see this little needle, and believe it or not I have a fear even of a tiny little needle – I swear to you you do not feel this thing when it is applied. It calibrates well, it’s super accurate with my eating patterns and you actually forget that it’s there.

Real Insight Into Your Personal Blood Sugar Issues
on March 18, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Blood glucose hadn’t been on my radar before I received the offer from Influenster to try this monitor. Watching my blood glucose levels rise and crash with my food choices and understanding how I felt at each of those times helped me understand my eating patterns. It has created a real motivation for me to change my diet to avoid insulin resistance and is helping me manage my hunger. I want to recommend the 2-week program to everyone I know. I nearly chickened-out applying the monitor because I was not expecting the needle. The language in the instructions about bruising and non-stop bleeding didn’t help encourage me to try it. But when I finally did apply the monitor, I did not even feel the needle/filament go in. The phone app is intuitive. It takes half an hour to receive data and then it’s ready to go with very little requirement from the user. I like how you can track meal times and exercise to provide context. The notifications that I should get moving during a glucose spike were also motivational and I actually did most of the time. Unfortunately, the monitor is a bit bulky and sticks out from the arm a bit. There is a clear, raised edge around the sides of the monitor. It’s visible under most clothing. The adhesive is strong and stayed on with showering, but the monitor was knocked off my arm before the monitoring period was over when I was jostled into a doorframe. It was painful getting ripped out that way and my arm was tender for a couple days. I saw information that you could receive a replacement monitor if yours came off early, but I was unable to find that option under my account (perhaps because mine was a free trial?). The only improvement I could suggest is a redesign of the monitor that tapers more on the sides so it is less conspicuous and perhaps would catch less easily. If you’re on the fence, try it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the Lingo glucose monitor and really like it. It’s easy to use, tracks glucose in real time, and helps you understand how food and exercise affect you. It’s not for diagnosing diabetes, but great for improving habits.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Using a glucose monitor is something that is very new to me but has been very interesting. Prior to this I haven’t ever checked my glucose levels but know that as I am getting older this is something to be aware of. This monitor is very simple to use. There is an app that helps you set it up right out the box. Once you insert it on you really don’t feel anything. Everything connects via Bluetooth but that is where I experienced a few problems. My sensor kept losing connection resulting in having to turn Bluetooth off and on a few times Each day. I even had to restart my phone to get it to connect. That became annoying. It is also pretty inexpensive if you are just looking to see how to better manage your glucose levels and work on eating better. It was pretty neat to be able To constantly track your glucose and see what things spike it throughout the day. The sensor did manage to stay in place throughout my time but it can get knocked or pulled on if you’re not careful. I also noticed that my adhesive started coming off around say 9 or 10. It did manage to stay on the 14 days but it became kind of loose and made me nervous it would just fall off but it didn’t. All in all pretty neat device that I would use again

Good option for a CGM
on March 18, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having used other OTC continuous glucose monitors in the past during my pregnancy, I was excited to try the Lingo to see how my blood sugar is doing now that baby has arrived.
Application, wear, and removal - the Lingo was in two pieces that you have to assemble together before application. It wasn't the most intuitive for me and I was worried that I was going to screw up somehow. Luckily that didn't happen and the application itself was a breeze. The application itself wasn't painful, but I did have a bit of soreness and skin irritation the first 2 days. The Lingo doesn't come with an overpatch, so it was just barely holding on by the end of the 14 days. It was easy to just peel off when the sensor was done. The filament for the Lingo was thicker than I was expecting
Glucose monitoring - this was the main purpose for me. As with other CGM sensors, the first 2 to 3 days were an adjustment period for the measurements when compared to finger pricks. After that the Lingo is pretty accurate (within 3-5mg) when compared to finger pricks. I also like how my glucose level was updated every minute.
App - when creating an account for the app, I had to select a goal, but none of the options are relevant to me. As someone who had gestational diabetes, I wanted to make sure I was not veering into T2 zone. But because the app has to create a "plan", I was forced to select something in order to proceed. I feel like a lot of the information/challenges/discoveries were just not relevant for me. I did like all the recipe that were in the app. The Lingo Count is another thing that I feel kind of meh about. I do like how it provides an easy to understand visual to your spikes. But I don't like how the app doesn't seem to pickup on the events I had entered as the leads into the spikes. The system will generate a blank event at the time they assumed for the spike even though I might have logged then a meal that was 3 minutes before the system generated event. Since I only tried out 1 sensor, I don't know if this is something the system learns overtime to adjust.
Despite not being a fan of the app, I still think the Lingo is a great OTC CGM, especially at the price point.
