Lingo, cool app for pre-diabetics
on March 5, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lingo has been pretty good. Did not know what to expect when I started to use this sensor. Easy to apply, looks a little scary at first, but no pain at all. Sensor connected to iPhone immediately, an could see the data on the app.
You barely feel the sensor on your arm, unless you specifically bang it on something. The app gives you plenty of data and tips. It helps if you are willing to provide it all data like eating and exercising habits daily.
For someone who might be pre-diabetic, it’s a cool little app/sensor that could help you change your diet and exercising. Good to know based off of the 2 weeks using this I am in the healthy range.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Lingo Continuous Glucose Monitor is easy to apply and stays in place with no issues for the whole 2 weeks. After the first day I didn’t even notice it was there. The app is very informative and provides a lot of good information. It helps me see what foods cause spikes in my glucose.

Great Continuous Glucose Tracker System
on March 5, 2026
Posted by: GaryG
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given the opportunity to try the Abbott Lingo continuous glucose monitoring device and app. I’m not diabetic, but it isn’t meant for that. It’s to provide you insights and help you meet goals you may have (such as weight loss, tracking meals, keeping hydrated, etc.).
The thing I was most worried about was the pain from putting it on and doing that myself. However, I was shocked when I didn’t even feel anything at all. I also thought it might bother me when I was trying to sleep or shower, but neither was an issue for me.
The device took an hour initially to calibrate to my body before data was available to view. Once it was calibrated, it showed you glucose tracking. I appreciated that the data would show up in Apple Health, along with my other health data.
The app shows spikes in glucose and highlights those. In most cases it was when I had had something to eat. It gives a + and allows you to enter what you ate. It also showed when I did a workout too.
The battery lasted the entire 2 weeks of my trial without fail. I appreciated the insights and data from the app. Removing the device was just like removing a bandaid. I was surprised his flexible the needle was when I took it off.
Overall, I really liked this system and will think about purchasing more in the near future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoyed this product and thought it was great for seeing my general glucose spikes and helps me understand how my food impacts the amount of glucose created! It was easy to put on and pretty painless. Mine did bleed for a few minutes which is normal, and it was tender for a couple of days but then I almost forgot it was there. It was durable, lasted through anything and very accurate. The removal was easy.

Perfect tool to help health journey!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently had the opportunity to try the Lingo continuous glucose monitor, and it was a really interesting experience. I’ll admit that at first I was a bit nervous about putting it on. When I saw the needle applicator, I completely chickened out and had my husband press the applicator for me! Thankfully, it was actually much easier and quicker than I was expecting and once it was done and on, it wasn’t really that painful either. After getting past that initial moment, I found the device really helpful for understanding how my daily habits affect my body. It was fascinating to see how different foods, drink drinks, stress levels, and physical activity impacted my glucose throughout the day. It definitely made me more aware of how my body responds to things I normally wouldn’t think twice about. The app was very easy to read and understand which I appreciated. I liked that it didn’t just show numbers, but also helped explain trends and patterns. After about a week of monitoring, the app even provided helpful tips and suggestions for improving my overall health based on my data, which was a really nice feature. The censor itself was also fairly easy to prep and apply, even for someone like me who was a little squeamish about needles. The only thing that took somewhat getting used to is having it attached to my arm all the time. I noticed it occasionally caught on things when changing clothes or showering, and it did snag a couple of times which caused a little bleeding. That said, once I got used to it being there it wasn’t a big issue. The device connected to Bluetooth and I didn’t have any connectivity issues over the two weeks. Overall, I think the lingo CGM is a great tool for learning more about how your body response to everyday choices. It’s easy to use, informative, and provides helpful insight for anyone interested in improving their health and understanding their glucose patterns better.

First impressions are everything.
on March 5, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First impressions are everything. I love the concept of this product and the design is great. I think the cost is worth it and it seems very accurate in the measurements. I haven’t completed my two week trial yet, but I do want to give my first impression after being midway through the first week.. It was very easy to set up, and I love the look and feel of it. However, after just a few days, I don’t feel that it’s giving me enough information quickly and at a glance to make decisions about what I need to do throughout the day. I am very busy and don’t want to take the time to learn the app as much as I feel this is going
to take. I’m not finished with the two week trial and I intend to complete the entire process. I want to continue using this if it’s necessary and if it will help me live a healthier life. I’m glad to have the opportunity to try Lingo. I believe that is where you keep your customers if the first impression is great! Full disclosure, I have not contacted Lingo for support. I wanted to figure it out on my own.

First impression: Simple set up, surprisingly painless application, and a very easy to use app.
on March 5, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Lingo Continuous Glucose Monitor for free in exchange for my honest review.
I recently started testing this glucose monitor and these are my first impressions from the setup process. One small inconvenience right away is that it requires you to provide your own alcohol pad. It would have been nice if they included a disposable wipe in the box so everything you need is there.
The instructions were very simple and easy to follow. Before applying the sensor, I noticed the needle is surprisingly thin and about half an inch long. Actually pushing the sensor into your skin is definitely the most nerve wracking part, but it ended up being much easier than expected. I felt a quick warm, sharp sensation that lasted about 30 seconds, but it went away quickly and overall it was very painless. Once it was in, I couldn’t really feel it when moving my arm around, which is great.
The app was also very easy to set up. It walks you through the same visual instructions that are included in the paper manual. The sensor connects to your phone through Bluetooth.
At the time of writing this review, I’ve only been wearing it for a few minutes so these are just my initial impressions. I’ll update this review after wearing it for a few days to share more about the full experience. lol

Informational, revolutionary device!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was surprised at how much I like using this product! I have had a fairly low blood sugar since I was in my teens and this is a helpful tool to see how what I eat and move my body affects my blood sugar. I have already recommended it to two friends and my mom! Inserting it was scary at first but it was easy and painless. You can turn on notifications on the app to alert you if you want. I was also surprised it stayed on my arm through several workouts, showers, sleep, etc. it’s very durable! I highly recommend giving it a try.
