Smart, simple way to understand your body.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What an incredible technology this glucose meter is! I'm truly impressed by the ability to measure your glucose levels from the comfort of your home!
The device was purchased online with the code provided and arrived in a couple of days. The setup was very easy, too. My Android app slightly glitched at first as I couldn't get past the terms acceptance screen, but restarting the app solved the issue. After that, everything worked smoothly.
The sensor was easy to insert with the device they sent you, a little painful, but tolerable. I will note that the needle is fairly long, and it takes a little time to get used to it. For me, it took about a day. I easily take a shower and sleep without noticing the device on me anymore.
Tracking my glucose daily (and yes, mostly hourly) was extremely informative. It was eye-opening to see how different foods affect my body. Most homemade meals kept my glucose levels within a normal range. I even experimented with eating a full platter of fresh fruit and still stayed within the range. Important is to eat if after the meal. However, restaurant food often caused noticeable spike in my glucose levels. I really enjoyed experimenting with different food at different times of the day - it's still mind-boggling that I do not need a lab for that!
Overall, the device appears accurate and reliable, and the data it provides is genuinely miningful. There were times when it was showing my levels lower than the device's threshold, and the needle felt a little stinging, but later, the monitor would normalize itself. Even just over a week of use gave me valuable insight into my health. I'm considering purchasing additional sensors to continue monitoring from time to time.

Easy to use and so insightful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a discreet blood glucose monitor that gives incredible insight on how particular foods and exercise affect blood sugar levels. The app is easy to use and clear. The monitor is easy to apply and comfortable during workouts and sleep. I took one star off because it was more painful to apply than other brands it have used.

Interesting to see graphs, easy to apply

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was easy to apply and actually didn’t hurt (more startling and needed to be hyped up to apply it thinking it would hurt but was fine). Instructions are pretty clear (with words and images) on how to apply.
The app shows graphs in real time and you can also look at previous days graphs as well which was helpful. It was interesting to see my glucose levels knowing what I was eating, drinking, or doing during that time.
The monitor itself is fairly comfortable and I forget I’m wearing it often.
My biggest complaint is it has to be a “tap to connect” Bluetooth method, but my phone doesn’t work/do that (though, I think it’s because my phone is old). Regardless, I was hoping I could just do Bluetooth and type in the number but I couldn’t. I ended up having to use my husbands phone to connect and use this, which was inconvenient but fine since we are near each other often. I didn’t know it’d be a problem until after I put it on. Wish they had a second option if this happened to others! I just reduced one star though since I think it may be an issue specifically with my phone.
Overall, application and wear has been fine. No real complaints there!

Lingo 👌

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Lingo sensor by Abbot Laboratory is a convenient and compact device for continuous glucose monitoring. It attaches easily to the arm, is barely noticeable, and automatically sends data to a smartphone app where you can see your current glucose level and trends throughout the day. It helps you better understand how your body responds to food and lifestyle. The main downside is the relatively high price, but overall it is a useful, accurate, and user-friendly device for everyday use.

Seeing how my glucose reacts to different foods in real time makes me think twice about what I eat. It’s easy to use comfortable to wear and the app is simple to understand. Easy and Accurate!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall its really like this. Its really great if you need (or want!) To track your blood sugar throughout the day. I believe it is relatively accurate, although, sometimes it isnt. Usually during strenuous activity, or more frequently when you sleep on top of it. However, it is nice to keep up with how I feel throughout the day. I have multiple chronic illnesses and I get what feels like low blood surge frequently, I also get concerned with my crappy diet that my blood sugar was getting too high. It helped me see that when I am feeling like my sugar is low, that it was and that when I thought it might be too high, it hasn't been, which has been great for my health anxiety lol. It was very easy, relatively painless, and quick to put on, I didnt even notice it within about 2 hours anymore and I have forgotten I have even had it at some points lol.

Now looking at my data I already know what life style changes I need to make, and what sugary breakfasts I need to remove from my diet. I would definitely recommend.

I was honestly so exited to try lingo because I have been curious about tracking my glucose level and learning more about how my body responds to food,stress and daily activity.the application process was much easier than I expected.it attached to the back of upper arm ,and it was quick and almost painless for me.what I really love about lingo is how empowering it feels.being able to see real time insight about my body help me make better decisions with my meal and lifestyle.the application process is user friendly,easy to navigate and give clear information that’s simple to understand even if you are new to glucose tracking .the scents or fell lightweight and secure one my arm .after placing it,I barely notice it’s there.it stay in place well and doesn’t interfere with my daily routine.over all, I think lingo is great tool for anyone who wanted to become more mindful about their health and understand their body on a depper level .thank you again for Influenster and lingo for these opportunity.
