It's a peace of mind while traveling. Open up more charging stations. Cost is still a priority at the charging stations. I am very happy to have this and will use it as i continue to travel the highways
I purchased the Vortex+ adapter mainly because I needed expanded ability to charge my new EV on road trips. I live in an area of plentiful charging choices but that can become narrowed when I travel far from home. I chose the Vortex+ and it has performed well. I only had 1 incident where I had problems charging using the adapter and I think that might have been because where I was charging placed the adapter in direct strong sunlight. I'm thankful to have found this adapter because as I've stated it opens up my options when I need to charge my vehicle and makes finding stations to charge less of a worry.
I purchased the Lectron NACS to CCS adapter to use Tesla Superchargers with my 2024 Honda Prologue Elite, and it has worked exactly as advertised. The setup was straightforward, the adapter feels solid and well-built, and it connected securely to the charger without any issues.
On our recent trip, we were able to charge at a Tesla Supercharger, and the experience was smooth from start to finish. The adapter locked firmly into place, charging started quickly, and I had no concerns about the connection during the session.
The build quality is impressive, and it gives me much more flexibility when traveling since Tesla's charging network is far more widespread than many other fast-charging options.
If you own a Honda Prologue, Chevrolet Blazer EV, Equinox EV, or another CCS-equipped vehicle with Supercharger access, this adapter is absolutely worth considering. Based on my experience so far, I would recommend it without hesitation.
