So far this watch has been a bit disappointing. The health tracking seems okay but it didn't track sleep twice this week. The menus are extremely hard to navigate and honestly, not well thought out. When you want to add a contact, you cant just link the watch to your phone you have to manually add them by scrolling through ALL of your contacts, then when you finally find the right one 70% of the time it doesn't allow you to add them so you have to input each one separately.
The golf function is basically a joke, it gives you distance to the hole but doesnt show the shape of the fairway, bunker location etc just the shape of the green. You can get much better data from an app like 18 Birdies, which has an Android app and is free. For the pricetag, I would have expected it to be better.
The health tracking is pretty good and it identifies some of the work you do in the gym but still just okay, adding sets is a hassle, and I ended up just using JEFITT because its better and take almost as much time to track. Unfortunately, Garmin doesn't allow 99% of third-party apps so youre stuck with the crappy UI and cant import from an app like JEFITT.
The ekg is cool but not really sure if I need it or it has any real value. The battery also blows and a realistic use would give you 3 - 4 days battery not 8 as advertised. This might work if you stop it from tracking and its basiclaly on standby.
Im going to give it another week but might return it and go with something like the pixel or a cheaper garmin option.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
