Nice, but could be better

I love my Crossover Solar Tactical and Crossover Solar watches with always on MIP display and at least 12 day battery life, and usually a day or two even longer. I thought this Crossover AMOLED Tactical would be an improvement. It is if you like AMOLED color displays and don't care about the really short battery life. I'm still adapting to charging this every 6 days - the shorter battery life when using GPS SatIQ every day for an hour or so. The buttons are 'squishy' compared to the positive and audible click on the Crossover Solar models. Still not sure if I will keep it. The display is colorful and crips but I had to turn off the glance mode when it is dark because the sudden light on the wrist is annoying. I do love the hand movement improvements - can always see the time even during an activity until I raise the wrist for a glance. The Crossover Solar models would fix the hands at 3 and 9 during an activity. The green stealth icon on the default face does not appear to change when in the stealth mode - I was hoping it would so I could tell with a quick look without selecting the menu to verify. The Red, Orange, or Green color shifts is a nice touch not mentioned in the specs, and both hands move really out of the way to 9 when pressing the lower right button so the default screen is 100% visible where on the Crossover Solar, they moved just a little counterclockwise. Case seems thicker than the Crossover Solar even though the specs state the thickness is less. On the real plus side, the speed is amazing when saving activities and viewing the Daily Report. The SuperLuminova on the hands and outer markings is much less than the Crossover Solar models making it more difficult to see the time when totally dark, like in bed. I might be asking for too much, but my ideal watch would be the Enduro 2 with hands. In my opinion, the Crossover AMOLED misses the benchmark because of the dismal battery life and the AMOLED lighting up like my phone. I'm a fossil, I guess, because I prefer the MIP always on display on the Crossover Solar models. I'll give it another week but will probable go back to the Crossover Solar models with MIP and normal GPS, which works fine for what I need, and the battery lasts almost twice as log and the buttons have more of a tactile feedback.
