Solar power charging

I bought this Garmin Instinct 3 solar power charging it's been great now I see my step count and heart rate this watch well made and the battery will last 40 days before charging again I fully charged it on July 1 2025 to see how long it will really last I went to the coast and my watch said 29 days before charging again well I got plenty of sun in one day that the charge when back up to 31 days till charging and I also do welding and i forgot to cover my watch that 3 ark sparks hit the lens and burn in to it but never Crack the screen like it did my phone and it still works on solar charging im glad I bought this watch it's worth the money and right now my watch says 27 days till I have to charge it again

It sounds like the software may need to be updated. Please sync the watch with Garmin Express on the computer to ensure all software and sensor files are up-to-date. If you haven't used Express, you can download it at Garmin.com/express. If you still have trouble, please give us a call at 1-800-800-1020 (Monday - Friday. 7am-7pm Central).

I’ve had the watch for 5 months. It’s great. I especially like rhe solar function. I only have to charge every 2-3 weeks. Great functionality. Tracks my cycling, pool swims, and open water swims. The health metrics are very good

Love the watch, especially the solar feature that provides excellent battery life. Wish I would've gone with the upgraded colored background feature. Very durable and waterproof which is great for my lifestyle.

Great watch...Few quarks...on the app..as long as roomurs are false it's great if they do go behind a paywall...shame...but back to watch it lasts and it charges.....the color one last as long and it's in color fyi
