Product has repeated failure point

I love everything about this except that it has a common failure point. If you put a lot of items in this so that it’s full and putting pressure on the zipper, the zipper becomes detached from the case at the corners (the stitching fails out so the zipper becomes detached from the unit). The first time I thought it was a fluke. The second time I now know that it’s a failure point in the product. Their warranty process replaced it one time, but they will only do it once. So either don’t pack it full or realize that this will only last about three years before it fails.

Fits my makeup and haircare!

It's a great pouch! The only reason I give this four stars is because I'm a woman. I don't use brushes or line sticks or anything like that; however, I agree with the current most critical but helpful review that highlights the fact that this bag isn't as makeup-friendly. I feel that I would have more difficulty if I had brushes, so consider what your makeup loadout is before purchasing. That being said...
This wash pouch is fantastic! It's of excellent quality, relatively light, and fits all my makeup and haircare supplies (excluding shampoo/conditioner, which I store in my small wash pouch). I've included a sample loadout in my pictures, and there's still room for more stuff. In my sample loadout, I left the toothbrush pouch, the external pouch, and two of the inner side mesh pouches completely empty. I'm sure that if I used a regular toothbrush instead of an electric toothbrush with a bulky case, I could fit it and my other oral care utensils in this easily. I also love how this product stands on its own, affording me easy access to all my makeup and haircare products when I have it set out on the bathroom counter after a shower.

The best on the market

I travel a lot for work, probably twice a month, plus personal travel and camping trips. I've used several dopp bags in the past, but nothing compares to this one. It is sturdy and tough. The organization Inside has a spot for everything I need, including moisturizer, contact lenses, and medications in addition to normal stuff like deodorant and a toothbrush. The towel rack hook actually works and the dividers act as shelves when it's hanging. If I lost it, I'd buy another one immediately.

Well designed & crafted, just not for me

I really wanted to love this, and don't get my wrong it's a fanastically designed wash bag hence the 5 stars, it's just not right for me. As much as I love organising, when it comes down to packing for a short trip everything I take with me is bulky, meaning all the benefits of the pockets and pouches are lost on me.
I ended up giving the wash pouch to my wife who does love it, I now just use 2 XS ultralight packing cubes for my toiletries.

Overkilled

I bought this two weeks ago, and I regret it. The wash pouch has too many pockets. I'm a simple guy, I don't need so many different pockets for different cosmetics - when I purchase a large cosmetic bag, I expect it to have ample space for all my essentials. All these compartments, divisions and pockets make the wash pouch lose capacity. Unfortunately.

Love it! - Just move the toothbrush pouch

This wash pouch has been on trips with me to California, North Carolina, Italy, France and more. Like other Peak Design purchases I've made, it was a wise choice to purchase it.
I had my eye on this wash pouch for a while before purchasing it because my frequent travel was leaving me frustrated with the single open pouch pocket style of toiletry bag. Everything in the bag would go in disorganized and I'd have to dig through it to find items when I needed them. It also did not have a built-in hanging design. All of this made the bag terribly inconvenient.
Before pulling the trigger on the purchase, I had considered options from Deuter, Thule, Tripped, Nomad and more but this wash pouch kept winning because, like other Peak Design products I've purchased, it is the most versatile, stylish and functional. I has lots of pockets and pouches that allow me to organize things well. It can be opened and sit upright to access it on a counter top or hung using the built-in hook that remains tucked away until I pull it out for use.
I'm not a huge fan of the toothbrush holder in the very center of the pouch because it has repeatedly created issues with packing items because, with a toothbrush in that neat little magnetized center toothbrush pouch, items press against the toothbrush and prevent the bag from zipping closed. Without a toothbrush in that spot, the multi-functional center of the pouch gives, allowing the items inside to fit. I would recommend a toothbrush pouch on the upper inside of the opposite wall to the external full-length zipped pocket where it would not interfere with packing.

Unsable pockets and poor use of space
on December 12, 2025

Regular size. Intended for travel with men's toiletries. While boasting numerous pockets, zip compartments, and pockets within compartments, these spaces compete for internal space and cannot be used simultaneously. The three mesh pockets on one side of the pouch are too small, or at least very tight, for most male toiletry products. The internal height is frustratingly "just" too short to allow 80% of my “travel-sized” cans, bottles, and tubes to stand up. Lying items flat makes them harder to access and the bag harder to close due to space restrictions imposed by the middle divider. I found the toothbrush pocket on the middle divider to be more of a gimmick than an innovation. The mini pockets and compartments are limited to holding nothing larger than blister packs and lip balm, and their overabundance makes it difficult to remember where things are because you can’t group multiple items by their purpose.
Please increase internal height by 15 mm, replace the mesh compartments with simple elastic loops, make the pockets large and practical rather than numerous and useless, remove the middle divider in favour of a side pocket with its own internal space, and provide a basic loop for my toothbrush. Consider products that practical men would use for travel, and design a wash pouch suitable for them.

Falls Short of Expectations Compared to the Tech P
on December 14, 2025

I really tried to like this pouch, but I can't. For context, I love the Peak Design Tech Pouch so I had high expectations for the Wash Pouch as well. Unfortunately, it falls short.
The outer shell material is waterproof but so sleek that I sometimes struggle to pull the pouch out of my backpack. I wish it had four-direction handles like the Tech Pouch. The silicone mesh is also waterproof, but it's too rough and not stretchy enough.
The hook feels unstable when the load isn't evenly distributed.
Overall, there is definitely a lot of room for improvement with this pouch.
