Best packable tote ever

I have 2 of these totes that I have been using for the last few weeks. They are sturdy and hold much more than I would have expected. I like that the handles are part of the bag and not just sewn on extra like so many other bags. This makes them able to hold heavier loads safely. I really love these totes. They pack down small and easily fit into my jacket pocket or sling so are always ready when needed. Thank you!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Packable tote bag is one of my favorite things to bring on international trips, especially to European destinations. I like to go to grocery stores and this is the perfect bag to take shopping and to hold your items without taking up much space in your luggage. It’s very durable, and I love that you can zip it close.
The quality and size of the bag are very nice. I like the use of a snap closure rather than hook and loop, but am a bit worried about it failing or ripping out over time as it is a bit strained when closed. The handle is comfortable and the zipper works well. My one complaint is that the color I ordered (charcoal) looks nothing like the pictures. In all the images the bag is a heather gray with black straps. In reality the entire bag is just black. I'm not sure if they switched fabrics or what, but be aware that what you see is not the color you are getting. A few of the reviews do seem to show the current black color.
I only bought it because there was a discount and I needed to top up the order. I mean, I didn't expect much, and I thought that I don't really need it: indeed, wouldn't any basic tote do? Well, this one is no basic tote, it is a piece of craftsmanship. It is not made for groceries, like someone suggested. It is for heavy-duty travel where every ounce matters. It is feather-weight and steel-strong, and yet it doesn't hurt your shoulder when loaded, it doesn't slip off, it is a pleasure to hold and so far it didn't shed a thread, unlike regular folding totes. It takes some training to figure how to fold it, but once mastered, it is an elegant small item that can hang on a loop outside the backpack. I am shopping for more now.
Bought this about 3 months ago, and this has been more useful than my designer bags. It is very light and disappears on you, as it is lighter than any bag or purse. At the same time, you could put anything in it. If you go out and about, you will always have a place to add small items that you did not expect to carry. No need to worry about which purse you should carry, whether it's too big or too small.
This is a nice tote bag. It feels study in build quality and I like that it has a zipper. I keep it in my sling bag in case I need some extra carry volume like an impromptu need to go to a store.
