Love this Captue Clip and the choice of colours

Love this Captue Clip and the choice of colours. The screws which were not available on other versions allow this to work on thicker backpack shoulder straps which is a game changer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Carryology Version is Unsafe
on April 28, 2026

I have several of the regular capture unit I use when travelling or in a setting where I carry cameras for frequent use over several hours. There has never been a problem.
The Carryology version is terrible. For some reason the thumb screws back off and several times the camera has fallen to the floor.
I am currently on an extended International trip, and the problem happens daily. I have to use a wrist strap as added protection.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Way to Securely Carry a CameraLLens
on May 18, 2026

I used the Capture clip and belt attachment for the first time last weekend wondering through Borough Market in London. It performed well and was a great solution to carrying a camera securely through a crowded environment. I had my Z^iii and a 24-70 lens mounted on it and it was seamless and comfortable. I would feel comfortable using it with my heavier Z8 and a longer lens on a shoulder strap but felt that it might be too heavy for a belt carry.

Excellent solid clip.

Really solid clip. Have it on the strap of my camera bag so I don't have to keep putting the camera in and out, but doesn't swing around.

Surprisingly sturdy for hiking with heavy gear

Was sceptical at first but now did about 100km of hiking with my Canon EOS 1DXII and a 70-200mm/f2.8 lens on my shoulder strap. Really feels assuring and sturdy. Plate could be a but larger to make it less wobbly.
I would recommend this to a friend!
