So well designed!!

As with everything Peak makes, the capture was no exception to superior design. I got the chance to use it for the first time over the weekend and loved how secure it made my camera feel on my crossbody strap PLUS how easy it was to attach and reattach in a jiffy! Thanks Peak!

Z8 + silicone protection + clutch + capture + 10L

All my doubts are gone now - even with a massive silicone protection on already bulky Nikon Z8 (only way for careless person like me to preserve the equipment…), the simultaneous installation of the clutch and the capture clip on the Everyday Sling 10L is possible 💪. I did not find more practical solution and better quality for Paris’ streets. Thx Peak Design!

Almost perfect

I am using the clip now for over a year and had it with me on many photo travels. The idea is great and the build quality is very good.
There are only two things bothering me:
1. One some backpack straps, especially on my photo backpack the clip is not leveled and turns inward my torso, sticking the screws in my chest. When the camera is mounted, the weight of the camera takes the pressure away.
2. Thick backpack straps can be a challenge.
Maybe a horizontal aligned version could solve the issue with the piercing screws

Great idea ... improvements necessary

Bought this product a few years ago. The idea is great but didn't work so well for me. First it was not wide enough for my Lowepro camera bag. Eventually I switched to a smaller bag and was able to fit the Capture to one of the straps. I quickly noticed that the screws easily become loose and often need to be tightened. Alas, eventually it fell off the bag on a hike without me noticing it. Never found it again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased this roughly a year ago and used it once. On my second attempt, the release mechanism jammed and doesn't allow the standard mount to slide into the clip.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the color!!!

I love this clip for its durability and compactness (and color of course)!!! But one thing I could see better for me - the unlock button is always on the right side, and there is no way to attach the clip in such a way that it’ll be on the left. Having it always on one side sometimes could be inconvenient .

Rugged, a Game Changer for Hiking

First day I used my capture on a 3 mile hike with my Canon R7 with a 150mm lens. Used on my belt with the belt support pad. Worked great! Really pleased. My binoculars were around my neck, so having the camera securely on my hip but easily and quickly accessible was absolutely great. Product is solid quality, rugged and looks cool, I’ll be using it for years no doubt.
