I am not a photographer, just a frequent traveler. So that is this bags main purpose with me. There are a few things I wish were different - the little zip pocket is quite shallow and when packed makes kind of an awkward bulge at the top of the pack. The zippered side pockets suffer from the same sort of drawback - if you have anything in the interior stretch sleeves like a water bottle or even sunglasses, these then become kinda useless. My last grip is that the bag is a bit ‘thick’ and bulky - but I realize that’s to help protect electronics. With all that, I do enjoy the bag and have obviously kept it. The soft felt/loop lining is really nice and the division for a book or iPad is great for travel. The size is perfect for a carryon with over the ear headphones, book, travel electronics, and even a light windbreaker stuffed inside. The latch system is kind of a ‘meh’ for me but it works for the most part pretty well. I’d like to see a lid length zippered pocket to quickly stuff things when going through TSA maybe on a future version. All in all it’s a good messenger bag, albeit quite expensive.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I was switching from the 20L V2 Backpak and I was concerned this bag wouldn't be large enough for my everyday carry, but I was pleasantly surprised that it's organized so well, and the origami dividers are so adjustable that everything fits great. I was also concerned the ocean color might be too light but it's a great shade that was well selected but the Peak Design team. As always great work Peak Design!
