[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s protective. I thought it was going to be more like a silicone case, but it is pretty smooth. I was expecting it to be more grippy. It is not slick like a shiny case though which I like. I do keep my grippy MagSafe attachment on the back at all times to add extra protection.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using VC cases for 10 years now, and I love them so much. Always durable, cutest designs and color options ever. I love that the chargers match the cases, absolutely one of the best phone case brands there ever was! I now put my grandma and mother onto their cases too and they love them just as much as I do. I got an Apple brand one prior and it broke into pieces everytime I dropped my phone. VC ALL THE WAY. It’s so sturdy and now that I have adult money, I want several styles fo match my outfits like the rest of my accessories do.

It’s still a hard shelled phone case but it’s got almost a smooth velvety feel to it. I’ve been buying these cases for years now and I will never buy cases from anywhere else, these are always amazing quality with amazing designs!
