TurboTax too expensive for self-prepared

Easy to use but getting too expensive, for a self-prepared taxes software. From the cost of the CD, to add states, to get advice, to file states etc...

I've been unable to file due to AGI showing as incorrect, though I did not receive a correction from the IRS and used TurboTax last year to file my taxes. I've found this very frustrating.
