More difficult

For some reason this 2024 IRS filing season seems much more difficult. In the past it has been much easier to prepare the return and everything seemed to have an exact location. This time it has been much more difficult to get the numbers in the correct place. But I tried!

Could not e-file because of TurboTax bug

Overall, I like the software, and have used it for a number of years. However, this year I found a bug in the software, where it insisted there was an error that had to be fixed before I could e-file. There was no actual error, which meant that I ended up having to file manually.

TurboTax is the best interface I have found for the payer to be able to file a tax return for an individual.

Waning customer appreciation

I have been using Turbo Tax for more than 27 years. The fact that I couldn't buy a CD with the program on it and had to download it to my computer is verry irritating to me. I always store that CD with my tax docs for that year and with the download it seems that when I am done, I will just loose the program. that must be what they planned on. Because of that, I may not ever use TT again. I will most certainly shop all of the other providers programs first next year. This is very disappointing to me as I have found this product very helpful for a very long time.

Disappointed with the entering of sales from Stocks & Bonds. I felt it was confusing as I doubled my entries & had to backtrack & eliminate a few forms. It used to be simpler.

TurboTax is a time saver

Turbo Tax has reduced the time that it takes to file my taxes, but has also left me with less understanding of the implications of each amount input. Also, I really miss the tax history report that we used to get.

IP Pin Code Check Needed

There should have been a check or reminder to include IP Pin before filing occured. My initial filing was rejected because of the missing IP Pin
