Very challenging this year!

This is my 14th year with TurboTax and it was bad this year: harder to install without disc; couldn't pull up 2023 information; put wife as primary and husband as spouse and couldn't change it because all of husband's information remained as spouse.

Turbotax is MOST ASSUREDLY NOT awesome. You have made something that used to be very elegant and straight forward a totally miserable experience. First, I would number the pages that print in each version because they do NOT print in any discernible sequence. You have broken down questions in various sections that are unnecessary to move from page to page. It's unclear if this is done for "seniors" or why. I did not request a senior (SR) version. I have used Turbotax for over 30 years and the 2024 version is awful!!! It took many attempt to save the data that Ihad entered. I finally didn't close my computer but left it on overnight so I didn't loose what I entered. This is not a problem with MacBook Pro nor its operating system. It took several attempts to successfully download your software.

Easy and Trustworthy

Have used Turbo Tax for more than 20 years and highly trust it. Easy to use and search for forms or receive online help. Don't like paying $80.00+ every year but no choice. Want it done right with no worry, use Turbo Tax.

Dramatic decline in quality the past two years.

Used to use TaxAct as I thought they were comparable, switched to TT when I found TA wasn't giving any help with state taxes. Now, TT Premier is filled with programming errors, missing lines on tax forms, wrong forms for filling out K-1 info or adjusting them for state taxes, etc. It's gotten more and more expensive as the quality has declined. Phone calls for help result in obviously incorrect advice such as, "Since there's no line for Other AMT Items included in the software forms, just put it on the line for Tax-Exempt Interest Income". Not good. And my forms the past two years just keep randomly changing numbers and adding/subtracting forms.

iT DRIVES ME CRAZY WITHMY 14 INCH SCREEN THAT I HAVE TO SCROLL DOWN TO HIT CONTINUE, CAN'T YOU PUT IT TO THE SIDE & WRAP TEXT AROUND IT? i HAVE POOR VISION & HATE TO USE A SMALLER TYPE TO GET IT ON THE SCREEN.
