Disappointed

I'm totally frustrated with your software. Following the instruction mode isn't helpful at all. It's much easier to choose to do on your own. There is far too much advertising, and it was necessary to go back way to often to change input. I had an terrible time trying to find reconcile line 5b. It ended up being line 5 of a 1099.

Issues with State Form

I was disappointed with the processing of my Wisconsin return. I was not asked to enter our college payments for our grandchildren. I had to call for help. Released access to view my screen four times! Added the required forms with help, so I think the taxes were filed correctly without the usual ease of prompts.

Mostly good, but 2024 version introduced confusion

I've used TurboTax for many years and am generally satisfied. I use the EasyStep process, occasionally switching to Forms to clarify details. I encountered difficulty entering information in my 2024 return because of a change in the way TurboTax displays information in the 1099 section. My husband and I need to enter information from multiple accounts at different institutions, some belonging to him, some to me, and some to both of us. TurboTax did not display these discrete accounts clearly. I found online discussions indicating that many TurboTax users are flummoxed by this.

Bad product missing many forms

TurboTax is too expensive, has errors, and lacks too many forms used by millions. When forms are missing from and need to be filled in separately, it also forces the tax returns to be filled by mail.

TurboTax trying to take my refund.

TurboTax is a decent program for tax preparation program. But after you pay for the program, they try to nickel and dime you for all your return money. E-filing the federal return is free with the purchase of the software but then they charge you $40 extra dollars to process the refund. All throughout the program they are trying to up sell you for some other service they suggest you need.

Turbo Tax 2024 is okay even without a disk.

I had a hard time looking for where I can apply my tax refunds on your Turbo Tax, both Federal and State.
Wished purchasing this 2024 and future Turbo Tax will have a CD or disk, rather than on-line download. I prefer the old or prior years' products, available on a disk!

Good and Bad

Better from the pass in that you did not have to go to a startup each time you took a break.
The "legal" agreement 97% in favor of intuit. It also seem to be written by a dozen lawyers who could not agree on anything so EVERYTHING was added.
