Total rip off

Total rip off, charged me $25 at the very end to e-file state. They also ripped off my kids -- forced to upgrade to deluxe just to file a 1098-T to report tuition, which is a total money grab of the $1000 AOTC that is trying to help kids pay for college.

Have been using TurboTax for the las 2 years. I find it difficult to apply the refund to the next year's estimated taxes. Everything else is easy to use.

TurboTax Issues

Disappointed that TurboTax doesn't support Form 8621. Also, walk-thru section found 32 errors in my return because I did not include the Form, Line and Schedule where tax items related to foreign assets were reported, when the amount of tax was $0. Obviously if it was $0 in all cases, there was no form or schedule in which to report it. This is a flaw in the software and very frustrating.

All went well except the foreign tax cr computation worksheet...it kept asking me to insert three lines of info that I did not have or know what it needed i.e. Part 1, taxable income. 4 b (1) c, (2) c and (3) c didn't fill in from my uploaded investment account UBS. Still not sure what they wanted in there and put in a zero and it wouldn't take that so I put in a 1 just to push past this. As I know I didn't have any interest expense.
