RMD questions are confusing.

RMD questions are confusing when asking about required minimum RMD for a traditional IRA. For example, if this for each particular IRA or all IRAs combined. TurboTax should just ask for the minimum RMD for all IRAs combined. Lets say a taxpayer, has two IRAs and this happened in 2024.
IRA #1: Gross distribution = $4,000 and minimum RMD for IRA #1 = $6,000
IRA #2: Gross distribution = $12,000 and minimum RMD for IRA #2 = $9,000
Turbo Tax should just ask for the cumulative total of the minimum RMD for these two IRAs = $15,000. If a taxpayer enters the $6,000 and $9,000 minimum RMD fore each RMD, Turbo Tax will incorrectly calculate an additional tax on Form 5329, Part IX when the taxpayer owes no additional tax for their two IRA distributions..

HAD A PROBLEM WITH 1099-NEC INPUT. FOUND OUT SOFTWARE FOR 2024 HAD AN ERROR.
PROBLEM RESOLVED WITH HELP FROM HELP-DESK. I SPENT AN ADDIIONAL $60.00 FOR HELP AND I BELIEVE IT SHOULD BE REFUNDED BECAUSE PROBLEM WAS INTUIT SOFTWARE.
