Very easy

I like the fact that TurboTax pulls and inserts all the tax information from all my financial institutions. I also find it very helpful to have past year's tax data side by side for comparison.

Turbo Tax Premier is poor

You still are totally incapable of handling a ton of transactions to be imported. Options traders generate lots of transactions and I have to enter this info by hand because you estimated that I owed OVER 5 TIMES the amount I actually owed. You do not include Form 8283 so I can't efile I have to print and mail it. Why bother using Turbo Tax then? You really don't have a good product for even a moderately sophisticated investor.

Things that don't work correctly. Mac desktop

1. Please stop using the senior 1040 form unless someone asks for it. I suggested this last year, and you did not fix it. just because I'm old doesn't mean I can't see.
2. The rental property expenses in easy step do not carry to the correct line on the1040. On your easy step page, it tells you where to enter HOA fees ,but it goes to the wrong line on the1040. And in easy step, it does not give you a total for miscellaneous expenses.
3.And you should be able to itemize each SSA 1099. Why do I have to add them together? I paid for the software, you should be able to add them together.

Lacking on instructions for the RMD calculation

Generally Turbo Tax was fine. However, as iin past years, , some questions were a little confusing, and I found very little assistance in the software on how to figure my Required Minimum Distribution, having turned 73 tears of age in 2024.

More Difficult this year

In using the "Review" tool, some of your error descriptions did not make it clear which particular entry was the problem and there was no link to the problematic entries. On those errors where there was insufficient detail, I had to spend time redoing the entire section, which then took care of each of those error problems.
