Good product for many years

Was a good product to use to do my taxes - have been using Turbo Tax for many years now. Was frustrated that my 2023 file was too large to import data for 2024 taxes on my new computer.

Keeps Gettin' Worse,,,,,

Seems like it gets worse every year. This year it was the "Foreign Tax Credit". Got stuck in a loop and had a lot of difficulty getting through it. Same goes for the QCD. It was hard to find where to enter the information because the walk through and the instructions were unclear or non-existent. Ended up asking Google,

Have been using TT for ~30 yrs; some weird issues this year - was unable to simply enter property taxes in return without reverting to forms menu as we don't have a mortgage. Language re K-1 entry created confusion - would have appreciated a direct link to subsequent entry. Live CPA advice was well worth the cost to provide confirmation of approach. Differences between state/fed approach for K-1 could be handled more simply. TT website needs work - if I want to log into my account to access the help community, I can't get past an on-line VRU that tries to confirm which product I should get, despite already having the program.
Although the program was made available in Fall 2024, it lacked so many components that it wasn't useful for year end planning; most entries could not be input until Jan/Feb 2025. Despite these challenges, I remain a loyal TT user, and hope that next year's program will work more smoothly.
