TurboTax is good except for having to correct mino

All good until ready to file electronically. Electronic filing requires all errors be corrected. Paper filing does not. Some information required for electronic filing is not apparent in financial downloads or available thru financial advisors. Myb errors were miniscual and should have been disregarded for electronic filing as is the case with paper filing. Would like to have died electronically this year but could not due to outstanding minimal errors.

Turbo Tax is very easy to use and does all the work for you. As long as you enter the tax data correctly, your return will be filed accurately. Your return will have the necessary forms to comply with the IRS filing too.

Turbo tax is so much like sitting in the tax preparer's office and going through each little detail. That gives me added confidence that this program is thorough enough to give me an accurate return that I can trust to be correct.

I expected better from TurboTax!!

I found filing my 2024 tax returns far less user-friendly compared to previous years. It felt like more responsibility was placed on the individual filing rather than being seamlessly handled by the software. One issue that particularly upset me was with the Retiree Pension Benefit 1099-R and the question about whether the pension was an RMD. Being instructed to 'ask my benefits department' was not the level of assistance I expected from TurboTax. There were several other frustrating moments throughout the process as well. Overall, I am terribly disappointed this year
