E-filing loop resolved on Mac OS Desktop Version

the last step e-filing failed and get into a loop you can never get out. Tried e-file federal and mailing for state also fail. ended up mailing both federal and state with mailing. The e-filing fee of $15 paid but not used, I don't know if I can it refunded after losing total confidence with turbo tax. Should have asked for a total refund but don't want to lose all data.
Finally problem solved by launching from Application after Desktop version update!!!

Sections made overly complex

In particular, the section dealing with Interest and Dividends was extremely convoluted. Co-mingling interest and dividends in alphabetical order makes no logical sense. The way you did it in the past - separate dividends and interest sections - made a lot more sense and was a lot easier and faster to navigate.

I had a good experience filing taxes using TurboTax. It was easy to use. Items such as royalty and rent required a bit of effort.

Didn't Work well this year.

In the 6 ish years since I"ve used T-tax, this was the most difficult. Problem 1. When I entered my pension income, then went forward, I got a notice that T-tax claimed I hadn't entered it last year. This caused confusion in me. Both Fed and State tax forms for 2022 show it on there. Trying to find it on TTax 2022 was very difficult. More generally, when going back, back, back....(multiple times at diffrerent stages) then going forwards through it again, often a different page would show or an old page wouldn't show. When I went to pay and changed my mind about efiling my IL state taxes, the program was forcing me to select to efile, even though I had gone back to click the "send a check" selection. No matter what changes I made in that area, it would stall. I called and spent 45 minutes with a helper who reached the end of his shift, and through no fault of his own could not help me...there was a major glitch. Now that I got to the filing stage, I am still not sure how I got through, seemingly skipping some steps without seeing the steps. I'm not sure if I am efiling my state....if I'm being charged for it or if I need to send a check to the state. It is very confusing
