What happened to opt out of State Return

I prepare taxes for both myself and my children. My son lives in Oregon and has a state income tax. My daughter and I live in Washington State and do not have a state income tax. In prior years there was an option to skip state income tax for my daughter and me and I do use the state income tax option for my son. The software this year did not give the option to skip state income tax for my daughter and me but wanted to file a return for Washington State when there is not income tax in Washington State. What happened to the option to skip the state income?

Improve 2024 TurboTax Software

2024 TurboTax software needs improvement in ref with (a) Schedule K Partnership info to add from our hard copy creates a do-loop for Section 199A Income data and (b) Form 1116 for Foreign Tax Credit input only allows for 1099-DIV and no place to add 1099-INT for Foreign Source Income as well as Foreign Tax Deducted at Source. This resulted in changing Filing from E-file to File by Mail. This is ridiculous.

error with tax exempt income calculation

i had to delete forms 1099-INT and 1099-DIV that I imported from Brokerage accounts and manually input data because it did not calculate my bond premium and tax exempt income properly. I already efiled and now i have to amend my return. not sure if info carried over to state of ohio form correctly either.
