I've used Turbo Tax for many years. I use the Premier version so I can import the 1099-Int, 1099-Div, and 1099-B details into my tax return. That saves a lot of time.
There were a few items that I needed to research or figure out how to enter in the Turbo Tax step-by-step entry, but I was able to do that. It's helpful to be able to switch from step-by-step view and Forms view. It's helpful to be able to look at the tax forms to see where a value was calculated.
I'm happy that I can download the software onto my PC using Windows 11, and work on my PC rather than on the internet.
I feel confident in the calculations and that the final return is accurate.

TurboTax is Intuit-ive

I have been using TaxAct for many years to save money. TaxAct has be good but, once I needed to import data for stock transactions, Turbotax Premier was a no-brainer. The time saved to import stock transactions eclipsed any purchase cost savings. The only downside is I needed to download this to my PC using Windows (I prefer using my Chromebook whenever possible).
Also, I like the TurboTax's user interface compared to TaxAct. It seemed far more intuit-ive.
