Great service easy to use. The best about Turbo Tax was the Expert Tax Advisor. I contacted the tax expert Lissette. Lissette helps me with completing the Schedule C section of the 1040. She was outstanding in taking care of me with problem. Her knowledge great. Thanks, Lissette, for your paction and time you spent with me guiding me through Schedule C. Outstanding Service, very knowledgeable.

Digital Assistant failed me.

I pressed Search and Digital Assistant screen opened.
I asked, "How can I leave my refund on deposit with IRS against next year's taxes?"
BELOW IS WHAT THE DIGITAL ASSISTANT REPLIED --- USELESSLY, AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED. I hunted around on my own and eventually found my answer under (un-intuitively) Other Tax Situations.

Here are some quick answers for you
Turbo tax and cross river bank
I owed the IRS from previous year and I didn't know. IRS levied my state taxes but the balance was taken care of by my federal tax refund. I have a credit after refund

FIX LINK to FORMS for deductions of MEDICAL COSTS

The program in general is fine, HOWEVER there is NO link to the FORMS one needs to fill in order to enter one's medical deductions. It would be TRIVIAL to have a link to the proper form. Instead for years now one has to deal with this problem. Shame on you for not having that link.. After all these years, after cursing the program liberally, I found the link to forms. IT is still VERY sad that a very good program should continue to have such a ridiculous flaw.

Good, but Online Version is Better

I found the desktop version was not as user-friendly as the online version I've used in past years. I had to look up things from the 2023 tax return to complete forms that should have been transferred over. Otherwise, I like TurboTax overall.
Pros: My employment status changed this year

You kept telling me Standard Deductions were more than what I entered. However, the click on using Standard Deductions were never on any form. How do I choose to use the Standard Deductions. It was not user friendly and easy as past Turbotax's I have had and used.

I have been using TurboTax for many years. Overall my experience has been very good. I would have given the product 5 stars but it kept generating a Federal Form 4797 for one rental unit that did not seem appropriate since I did not record selling any property. This form could not be removed. I noticed this problem has occurred for others who noted it in your online forum.
