I have had 3 audits and won them all

The IRS manuals are terrible to read. TurboTax has a couple sentences to summarize. They have a link if you need to have a more in depth description. Also by doing this myself. Years ago I got one Tax Company to do my first time rentals so I had a good primer. I now know my tax details well. I was audited years ago three times. And won all three times. I was off by $123, so I wrote them a check. Not bad for about 40 years with TurboTax.

Could not transfer investment info from Schwab. Entered continuous loop. and repeat. Had to all info manually. Software SUCKS!!!!!

Ken was Great! We solved all of my error messages and tackled some problems of missing information I needed. Really got me pass the mental problems of filling out the many forms correctly. Thanks Ken

TurboTax Does the Job

As always, I was able to get the returns done and filed. However, the are a number of clunky interfaces that make the job more difficult than it would need to be. I particularly wasn't a fan of the changes you made to the investment interface. It was painful to work with! The previous approach wasn't perfect, but it was definitely easier to use and more flexible when I had exceptions to the default approach.

The entire program is easy to use. Your decision this year to eliminate allowing the entering of financial information yourself was frustrating until it was added as an option in March. I don't import financial information and never will.
I appreciate the familiarity of the program year to year.

Needs some improvements on usability

Pretty good, but doesn't guide us as it should. Like wasting time putting in Charity information with I'm filing standard deduction. It was a complete waste of time.
Also, I had to pay a penalty for not paying enough estimated taxes and was fined $68. No explanation in TurboTax. I had to look it up. It would be a nice feature to say "Hey, look to avoid a penalty next year estimate your taxes higher. Should be a clickable link.
