Turbo Tax Could Use Some Improvements

Parts of turbo tax are confusing and could use help for each particular page of the application.
Turbo tax keeps track of charitable contributions from the previous years. It would be really helpful if Turbo Tax alphabetized those charities before presenting them in the following year.
On the Your Audit Risk Results page, clicking on the "free Audit Support Guarantee" link results in a page not found error.

Turbotax Really Helps

Had a good experience with Turbo Tax this year. My state tax withholding for Illinois did not appear on the state summary page so I was concerned it was not applied. I called a Turbo Tax representative and she helped me look at Forms which did show the withholding amount on the Illinois return.

Turbo Tax is a little more complicated

It was not a smooth transition this year. If your old like me, it was more complicated than usual. If you are retired you need to "record" the recommended dollar amount of RMD as calculated by your investment advisor because either IRS or Turbo Tax will ask you to input it when completing your return. I also wish they would give the option of itemizing or taking the standard deduction, rather than timeless energy wasted on completing the deductions only to be told it is better to take the standard deduction (that you already knew).
