Intuit lobbies government to keep taxes compicated

TurboTax works great. But as an informed consumer I am aware that Intuit has spent decades lobbying the government to keep taxes complicated so that it can profit, and lobbying against public software to help us file our taxes for free. Wonderful, but annoying at times

My experience has always been excellent. However, this year's software made it difficult to impossible to print forms that I wanted. It always asked me to use a "chainlink" which I had no idea of what it was. Previous years' programs have been very easy, not 2024. However, l do plan to use it next year

Signing-on was harder this year.

turboTax gets worse over the years

relatively easy to use but has some errors. I couldn't find where to fix the errors. In my filing, it says I got 19,500 solar credit, which I had 3 years ago. I couldn't remove it.
