Turbo Tax Cost me $200 due to unsupported state

I usually highly rate turbo tax however, this year turbo tax didn't support an annualized income calculation on my state tax return, resulting in paying about $200 in underpayment penalties that really didn't apply. My only choice was to just pay the penalty since I would have had to get a tax accountant involved to properly calculate the annualized income method and file manually which would have cost me even more.

Seemed more difficult to navigate this year

This year upgraded to the Premier from Deluxe. It was more difficult to use this year. No way to delete forms.
Just more difficult to navigate overall. Some highlighted boxes did not work. And the information needed (like codes) were not available at all.

Great software. Only complaint is that state return filing should be included in the software price since the majority of people have to file a state return. Otherwise I would give it 5 stars.

Confusing Explanations

I am assuming that the software did a good job. There was a lot of information that it could have pulled from my last years return that it didn't. And also was very disappointed with the wording on some of the explanations. They could easily refer to much better explanations on the internet if they don't want to put it in the software. Also, there was a $10 discount that I supposed to get that never pulled up anywhere for me to apply.

I like that it keeps track of tax information from the previous year and allows me to compare previous year to current year.
