Great program accept PIN Issue

t would have been nicer when my return got rejected if it was easier to locate and fix the IRS 6-digit IP PIN and fully explain that that PIN vs the 5-digit PIN are different.

degraded performance over prion yeaf

Not as good as in previous years.
Less user friendly
entering interest before dividend info is much degraded from previous years.
Could not insert information from Charles schwab. Only 4 incompatible file types were offered, neither were compatible with Schwab. After passing income adjustments for VA could not return to that section to make corrections. Had to delete the return and start over. It was by accident that i found how to to delete a started state return.
Less user friendly

Almost good enough

The federal portion is decent for standard taxes. Painful for special circumstances. States are worthless, and integrate horribly. They ask questions that are no more clear than just reading the state form itself. Save your money and do not buy the state options

No mechanism to import W-2 form from employer

I bought a Premier version but still was not able to import my tax information for my employer (Boeing). Had to manually enter the figures. I don't want the other option of scanning or Xeroxing my tax W-2 into JPG format for the other option. Why can't I import directly from my employer like I used to do with a Deluxe version.

Always TurboTax

Have been using TurboTax for the last 14 years. Always easy to navigate and use. The step by step filing guide and the pop out information are always very helpful.
