Turbo Tax new User Interface is terrible

Could not believe that this program could get worse but it has! It appears that Turbo Tax has over simplified the user interface and intentionally hidden and obscured access to individual forms and worksheets. Their handling of form 2201 and associated worksheets was exceptionally deficient. It appears they are obscuring things in an attempt to sell their assistance services!

Turbo tax would not open after it updated and I had to reinstall it. Then it kept crashing after one of your updates was was installed and I had to keep manually saving it repeatedly to keep from loosing my inputs - real annoying! Got paranoid I would loose my return and have to start over. Suggest you set your autosave every 30 seconds (or less). Scarey! NEVER had so many problems before EVER with Turbo tax. Also the fact you block auto filling the blocks is a real time consuming bummer. Maybe the government will come up with software and I'll jump from Turbo tax, doubt it with this Admin! All they know how to do is destroy things! Good luck!

The best option around, and still terrible

It's absurdly slow, it's buggy, it crashes, the updates take forever. State returns in particular are poorly implemented. A lot of the imports are broken (Schwab and Intuit have been having a stupid slap-fight and blaming each other for a decade now). It constantly tries to upsell you on premium features or services like "audit defense" that you probably don't need. BUT. It's still miles better than any of the competition - taxact, freetaxusa, etc, they're all just abominable in comparison.
