Good but not perfect

TT did a great job but I encountered a few 404 errors on obscure links. Also it found errors with empty fields when TT should have entered the calculated value (even if it was a zero).

It works

It makes doing taxes on my own easier, but has become more complicated over the past few years and doesn't ask the questions the way it used to. You need to know some of the answer and where to put them. I wonder if I am still getting the correct information entered and if I am getting the refund I should be. I almost switched brands this year, but decided to stick with Turbo Tax because all my old information transfers over. I am not happy that the only way to get it now is by download, I'm afraid something will go wrong and I will lose it. I want a CD. The price, also, has risen and is more than the other brands. i don't know if it is worth it anymore.

A Reliable, systematic Approach to Navigating IRS

Start to finish, this takes me about 4 hours total desktop time. Turbotax has been my northstar for 28 years or longer. I began using their products on slower, older machines, and I also used Peachtree software to complete management financials. Everything from your organization seems to crush the grapes into the best wine, so to speak. No hassle, no complications, at least, none that aren't self-evident. There are a few occasions where you just have to do things long-hand. With TurboTax, those are incredibly few and far between.

Update program time

It takes too long to startup the TurboTax program. It always wants to update the software. 5 minutes or longer. Not able to purchase the software on a CD.
