I couldn't file my taxes without the help of TurboTax. With the IRS intent on robbing America blind, it's nice to have help getting the maximum deductions possible.

Used Turbo Tax for many years. It's not Improving

1. It seems like you have removed several places where you used to be able to add supporting details. There were several places where it would have been helpful to do this, Like the SSA-1099 entries. I had two SSA-1099 forms and would have been easier if I could have entered them separately then had the program add them up.
2. The program is getting more tedious to utilize. There are places where you disable the paste function, like passwords to download data from brokerages and banks. I use a password manager and it would be helpful to be able to paste the passwords (long complex ones) rather than typing each one, or at least be able to view the password typed to check it. In addition it seems like you are asking more and more questions about esoteric tax situations

Not good this year

Changes this year SUCKED. The new interface to add the DIV/INT information was horrible. Automatic downloads were unreliable. Seriously thinking of using a different product next year. And it crashed at least once while I was using it.

Turbo Tax is easy to use even the first time!

This is the first time I have used Turbo Tax and it was very easy. I won't be using a Tax Professional again, because this is as easy and a lot less expense and aggravation over the last two tax preparers I used.
