Quality Slipped

I've used TurboTax for as long as I can remember and have always had a high degree of trust in it. This year I feel that the quality of the release was not what I've come to expect. I was stopped several times by little bugs that I had to figure out how to work around. One of these adventures cost me the better part of a day to resolve. I hope that next year's release returns to the high standard you've set for decades.

I did manage to get through to the end, so I can't give it zero or 1. The low review comes from experience in several areas: Accuracy, ease of navigation, traceability, and "in app purchases". Inaccurate: * Missed state adjustment on US treasury obligations. * had to restart when a change to one 1099 B item raised taxes by $10,000 (which was mathematically impossible) Difficult to Navigate: * Force repeated entry for many items. * Some screens reset to top every time you click certain things * Layout hides columns even when there is plenty of full screen room. No traceability: * it's impossible to tell what's going on unless you really understand the forms and the point of using software is to avoid understanding the forms. Nickled and Dimed: * It seems like many increment require an additional payment. The most frustrating is the e-file fee for state even though it is advertised as having a complete state function for one state. This was unexpected since TT is the oldest of the tax prep software, so I expected it to be "mature" as they say. I do hope that they can fix these things, but I'm trying something else next year and will need a "try before you buy" version of premier to be convinced that things are fixed.

Frustration

The return was rejected by the federal and state. I corrected the error but could not resubmit because I had already used my 5 federal returns on family. The rejected return was one of them and now it won't re-submit after i already paid for it.
Customer service tried to help but couldn't. Erica tried to help me for 2 hours but was unsuccessful. She was great. I finally had to mail it in. Come on guys, get it together. Couldn't make online work. Way frustrating.

Garbage. Paid for a product to e-file and the product is too glitchy to actually let me e-file. Customer service is also useless.
