I spoke with 4 different experts. They overall were a help, but some were more experienced than others and it showed. Had problems with a rental property deduction (first time) and only 2 were up on this issue. Stayed on the phone with me for over an hour (all 4!!!) so I know they were trying. Hope next year is easier!

A very good product that I have used for more than 20 years. The changes to the format and organization of investment data (1099-INT, 1099-DIV, 1099-OID, and 1099-B) are not an improvement and are inferior to the previously used format and organization. It is less intuitive, and the information displayed without going into edit mode is inadequate to read data values when checking entries. This new approach is unnecessarily tedious.

I've been a longtime TurboTax user, with a brief break when we hired a CPA. The $400 savings we got by using your product was a definite win.

It's great that it saves information from prior years so you don't have to input all over every year. It reminds you of some items you had in prior years in case you forgot something. The community boards are helpful and ability to ask questions in the forums. And you can get advice from experts.

Great Reliable Tax Software Tool.

I've used Turbo Tax for decades now and I've never had an issue with the software solution. If your tax situation does not change significantly, year over year and you're comfortable with most tax accounting, deductions and investment terminologies, I highly recommend it in lieu of paying extra for a tax accountant. It's easy and intuitive to follow.

Turbotax Programmers got out of Control

Turbotax has taken a major step backward in their human interface, making it much harder to enter information and much harder to navigate to specific places in the process. Their programmers got out of control.
