Bugs and changes were not good.

I have used Turbo Tax for over 20 years. It has been excellent the last 5 to 10 years. This year it was NOT!!!
Two Problems: 1) It incorrectly transferred our QCD contributions to our Colorado tax return. Which I didn't notice until after I had filed our taxes electronically. 2) So when I started to do an amended return to correct that problem, it no longer had a separate file of my original return. In past years you always had separate files for the original and amended returns. These changes are very frustrating and don't encourage me to continue using Turbo Tax.

TurboTax gets the job done!

I've successfully used TurboTax software on my PCs for years. Valuable to me: Step-by-step walkthru of tax forms' data entry field-by-field; Importing of previous year's basic tax preparation data from saved file on pc; importing of investment tax reporting data (1099-INT, 1099-DIV, 1099-B, 1099-R) from institutions online; side-by-side display of two-year comparison of tax data; automatic prep of State Return; e-filing of Federal Return.

Excellent as usual.....I like the way you do not make radical format/interview changes between tax years. I received acceptance from Federal and State before I had even printed the forms!.

Navigating some screens is challenging (obscure slide bars to see 'hidden' parts of screen. Importing 3rd party information was not as seamless as it could..
